The S20 Spring Starter is designed for small diesel engines from 0.5 to 2.0 litres (30.5 to 122 cubic inches). It is available in both clockwise (S20C) and anti-clockwise (S20A) rotation models, making it suitable for a variety of engine configurations.

Flexible mounting options

The S20 features a flange-mounted design compatible with SAE1 and SAE2 standards, ensuring compatibility with many engine types. Multiple pinion tooth configurations are available to suit specific applications.

Durable and lightweight

Weighing just 12 kg (26.5 lb), the S20 delivers reliable performance while remaining easy to handle and install. It can produce a torque of up to 91 Nm (71 ft/lb) on engagement and 64 Nm (50 ft/lb) when fully charged.

Precision operation

The starter’s engagement can be adjusted in 8.5° increments, with 1.75 turns required to engage and 10.75 turns for a full charge. It includes a starting aid for temperatures below 5°C, ensuring dependable cold-weather operation.

Protective finish

The S20 is zinc-plated with a primed and top-coated body for corrosion resistance. A powder-coated finish is also available for added durability in harsh environments.
