We’re expanding the team thanks to our commitment to engineering excellence and unwavering reliability! We seek an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive our growth across the Europe.
Position Overview:
We’re looking for a dynamic Area Sales Manager to develop and execute sales strategies across Europe. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge starting solutions while building lasting relationships with key industry players.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers in the mining, oil and gas, marine and power generation sectors
- Create and execute territory sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Provide technical support and solutions to customers
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence
- Regular travel throughout Europe to meet clients and attend industry events
- Collaborate with the UK head office team on strategic initiatives
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and activity reports
- Represent Powerstart at trade shows and industry events
Required Experience:
- Proven track record in technical sales within Europe
- Experience in one or more of the following: diesel engines, engine starting, power generation, oil and gas industry
- Strong business development capabilities
- Technical understanding of industrial equipment
- Fluent in English (Additional languages would be advantageous, including but not limited to: German, Spanish, French)
Preferred Background:
- Engineering background or equivalent industry experience
- Experience selling to mining, marine, or oil and gas sectors
- Understanding of starting systems and related technologies

- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Cultural awareness and ability to build relationships across diverse markets
